BACKGROUND: The Webley MKIV .455 revolver was known as the "Boer War" Model due to the large quantities of officers who purchased them on the way to partake in the conflict. During WWI the MkVI became the standard sidearm for British and Commonwealth troops as was distributed to all arms of the military.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Mark VI factory "cut away" pistol revolver. Nicely marked and dated.
