C011494 BRITISH MINIATURE "TOY"" VICTORIA CROSS.
A bronze patée cross that measures approximately 22mm across showing the Crown of Saint Edward, surmounted by a lion, with the words "For Valour" to a ribbon below. The medal is suspended from horizontal opening to the top arm, from which a solid burgundy ribbed silk ribbon is passed through. The reverse of the medal is blank. A small pin is passed through the top of the ribbon. I believe this to be a miniature produced for children. If any collectors have further information, please email me at the below email address.
