C010295 WW1 BRITISH/CANADIAN TRENCH CAP.

A M1916 drab wool, soft cap (trench cap) constructed with a one piece crown with a soft brim with six lines of stitching and reinforced stitching to the two piece body. A pair of metal grommets are under each side of the crown for ventilation. A brown leather adjustable chin strip is attached via a pair of general list buttons. A war department acceptance mark visible. Roughly a size 55. Nice cap!
