C009690 ITALIAN M1891 CARACANO KNIFE BAYONET WITH SCABBARD.
A 43cm long (in overall length) knife bayonet with sheet rolled steel scabbard (31cm long). The blade measures approximately 30cm long with a crossguard that is marked "F.H. 2304" to one side and "Terni" to the opposite side. A release button is to the pommel that has had the wood grips replaced with plexiglass from an aircraft window (as per the vendor who bought as part of a lot). The scabbard is from a Czech bayonet.
