C009584 MODEL 1855 MAINSPRING VISE.
A partial, M1855 mainspring vise for the M1855 rifle musket, that also worked with the M1861 and M1963 muskets. Marked "US" but the "thumb" plate is missing and there are cracks that were caused by bending. Some pitting is visible.
