C008895 FRENCH COLONIAL TROOP UNIFORM GROUPING.

A five button, double row, brass button tunic with lay down collar with hook and eyelet, integral shoulder straps that button to either side of the neck, hip pockets, French cuffs, and brass belt hooks. All brass buttons have the Colonial design. The interior is unlined with various cartouches that include a 1926 date. A tag to the interior of the neckline is also present. Included are a matching pair of breeches with a three button French fly with a pair of additional buttons to the waist, six buttons that extend the perimeter of the waist band, vertical slash pockets to the hips and a hand sewn repair to the crotch. All buttons are mis-matched. The waist measures approximately 38" with a 24" breech. Cartouche stamps are visible to the interior.
