A three-quarter length, blue-grey wool service tunic with four exterior pockets, a four-button single-breasted front closure, open neck lapels, and a lay-down collar. The pleated patch breast pockets have scalloped, button-down flaps, and the unbuttoned, horizontal slash hip pockets have straight-edged flaps. The 1.5cm diameter brass buttons to the breast pockets, and the 2.5cm diameter ones to the front closure, are each embossed with a King’s crown over an eagle in flight, with "R.C.A.F.," for Royal Canadian Air Force," beneath. To either hip are integral steel belt hooks. A vertical tail skirt vent rises 27cm from the base of the reverse of the tunic. Sewn above the left breast is a RCAF Air Gunner wing. Sewn to each shoulder is an RCAF Overseas shoulder flash as well as a chevron indicating the rank of Sergeant. The belt has a dual-pronged brass buckle and the right end has three sets of corresponding doubled eyelets to it. The interior is lined in light blue cotton from above the pocket bags to the white cotton lined sleeves. A wound dressing pocket may be seen to the base of the forward right panel. Printed to the left wearing pocket bag is a "C - broad arrow", along with the manufacture name of "Ritchie, Farber & Co. Limited Toronto, 1944, as well as a Size of 20, height and breast measurements. The blue/grey wool trousers, have four painted dish button fly with an additional button at the waist, and twelve buttons sewn to the outside for the attachment of Y straps. The trousers are unlined, but do have a white cotton sewn to the inside waist band. The inside is "C" broad arrow marked as well as size markings. Also included, is a black 100% nylon tie that measures approximately 134cm long. Very nice clean grouping with the trousers appearing to have not been issued or worn.
