This field gray tunic features four exterior pockets, a four-button single-breasted hidden front closure, with a lay-down collar. All buttons are complete and look to have their original stitching. The pleated patch breast and hip pockets each have straight-edged flaps. The non-removable shoulder straps are of the same material and color as the tunic, and bear no insignia for war regulations. Each collar point holds collar tabs representing the Medical Corps. Above each cuff is rank insignia representing 2nd Lieutenant, yellow rayon underlined in purple (this underline is for medical officers only). A large manufacture tag is sewn to the fully lined grey rayon interior "G. De Vita – Tutti Articoli Forze Armate." There is some general wear, this jacket has seen combat.
