This is the model standard issue for cavalry, mechanized/tank units, very often wore by Officers in different mobile units. It was very popular because it was easy to wear, no belt strap needed around the neck. A dual pocket, medium green/grey leather, WWII, ammunition pouch, each pocket having a top fold-over flap to which is riveted a strap with a stud hole which mates with the, blackened steel, stud to the bottom of each pouch. Riveted to the reverse of each pouch are vertical belt loops. Excellent condition.
