Khaki wool tunic with a five button fly front closure that leads to a closed fall collar with a pair of hooks and eyelets. There are pleated patch pockets to each breast, whose scalloped flaps have button closures. The integral shoulder straps are buttoned near the neck. The outside seam slashes at the pleated cuffs also have single, hidden button closures. Three stitched eyelet ventilation holes are beneath each armpit. An integral belt, with a nickel-silver buckle and vertical wool retaining loop on its opposite side, is to the waistband. The back has multiple pleats to it above the waistband. The interior waistband, and along either side of the front closure is lined in tan-colored cotton, and a large, vertical slash pocket, in the same material as the lining, is to each interior breast. The tunic is clearly marked "Height 6'0" - 6'2", Breast 41-42" along with a "C broad arrow and a Jan. 1942 date. Dark green wool shoulder flashes for the "Queen’s Own Rifles" as well as "Canada" shoulder flashes and a 3^rd Canadian Division badges are sewn to each sleeve. A wound stripe is sewn above the left wearing cuff, while a three year overseas badge with a "39er" is sewn just above the right cuff. A Canadian Volunteer Medal ribbon bar with Maple Leaf, representing 60 days service outside of Canada) is attached above the left breast pocket. There is a large repair to the right wearing sleeve above the cuff. The buttons to the shoulder straps do not match those to the front of the tunic.
