A dark blue/navy, double breasted, jacket with lay down collar and six 2.5cm diameter brass buttons with Kings Crown surmounting "Canada" and an Anchor with rope. All brass buttons are marked "W. Scully Montreal Ltd." A single vertical slash breast pocket and two slash hip pockets are present. Each shoulder has a "Canada" shoulder flash with wire thread. Above each cuff is rank insignia of Lieutenant Commander. To the left breast is a four place medal bar that is hand sewn to the tunic that is made up of 1939-1945 Star, the France, Germany Star with Rosette (Atlantic Clasp), Canadian Volunteer Service Medal (with Maple Leaf) and the 1939-1945 War Medal. The inside of the jacket is fully lined in black silk with a single breast pocket to each panel. A white oil tag is sewn to the interior right wearing pocket that reads " Lt. C.G. Brook, Halifax" with a date of "Nov. 28. 43". A manufacture tag for "Tip Top Tailors" is also present. There is tearing to the stitching of the sleeves. The chest measures approximately 40".
