The approximately 8cm x 24cm x 26cm tan-colored canvas carrying bag has a single top fold-over flap and a carrying strap attached to either upper side. The fold-over flap has brass snaps to either of its forward edges which mate with corresponding brass studs on the top of the body of the bag. To the lower left facing side is a small pocket with a brass grommet. The adjustable, webbed over-the-shoulder strap is reinforced stitched to each side panel. Pressure clip is present. To the interior of the fold-over flap is ink stamped a "broad-arrow," , along with the manufacture name and a 1917 date. The interior is divided into two compartments. Moderate/heavy age and usage soiling is evident throughout.
