C005183 U.S. ARMY M1916 HOLSTER FOR 1911 .45 PISTOL.  

A stitched, tan leather constructed holster with thigh strap. The fold over flap with "U.S." within an oval is embossed to the surface, mates with a brass stud. To the reverse is the belt attachment that swivels on a brass button that allows for easy movement. A shaped block of leather is sewn to the interior that allows the butt of the pistol to sit away from the body of the pouch, therefore allowing the pistol be pulled from the holster with ease when required. Maker marked and dated for 1918. Super nice condition.
