An "U.S. Non-Combatant Gas Mask, MIA2-1-1 Large Adult gas mask with pouch. The unused gas mask is completely intact with instruction booklet. The mask is made of rubber with web elastic straps. The top has "Large Adult" stamped atop the forehead. The bottom is an olive metal can with the instructions ink stamped in black. This mask also has its carrying pouch. It is made of olive drab and it has a triangular shape. The front has a black ink stamp which states; US Noncombatant Gas Mask MIA2-I-I Large Adult Property of US Govt. OCD. These masks were considered to have been the property of the United States government, thus were not sold privately. The pouch has a webbed carrying strap.
