C004195 IRISH REGIMENT OF CANADA OFFICER’S CAUBEEN.

A green wool, three piece cap with a ribbed, black silk head band, a large rosette with a bi-metal Irish Regiment cap badge with a faded blue hackle. The interior is “C” broad arrow marked, as well as manufacture marked for “A.B. Hewer Uniform Caps, Toronto. A pair of short “swallow tails” are to the reverse of the cap. The rear stitching of the bad have been removed, but held in place by a modern safety pin. The cap measures approximately 53. There are some small moth holes to the wool.
