
















C003995 BRITISH BRIGADIER GROUPING.
This grouping consists of a General Officers visor cap manufactured by Falconer & Sons Bench Street, Dover that is approximately size 55. A red “dickie” is included that is worn under the collar of the tunic, and tucked into the jacket. Two of the three male snaps are missing. It measures approximately 38cm long and is 41cm wide to the top that includes the straps. A hole is present. The battledress has a five painted, dish button front that leads to a lay down collar with a pair of hooks and eyelets to the neck. The integral button shoulder straps bear the rank insignia for Major General, as well as the cyhpers “GR” that signify aide de camp to King George VI. A pair of Brigadier collar insignia are to each collar point. A Staff officer brassard is to the right arm. Above the left breast is a seventeen place ribbon bar that includes a DSO, OBE, MC WWI and WWII, as well as campaign medals for France and Italy, as well as numerous foreign decorations. The interior bears a tag indicating a Size 13 tunic, manufacturer name and date, as well as a broad arrow.
