C003395 THE BLACK WATCH KILT.

A pleated wool kilt in the pattern of the Black Watch with a brown leather belt with seven double rows of punched holes that mates with the corresponding double prong buckle. A green rosette (or bow) is to the front bottom left. This rosette or bow is worn by Senior NCO’s of this regiment. The interior of waist in fully lined and trimmed. A manufactures tag of "Wm. Anderson & Sons Ltd. Edinburgh & Glasgow” is sewn to the edge that also bears the handwritten name “Major E. Reece” “950791 Reg. G Aug. 1942". The waist measures approximately 32" and is 72cm long. There is no mothing or holes present. There is some light wear along the trim to the waist. (Ex Taboika Collection)
