C002995 BLACK WATCH ROYAL HIGHLANDERS OF CANADA LIEUTENANT’S SERVICE TUNIC.

Standard khaki service tunic with four button front, lay down collar and integral shoulder straps. Two breast pockets with scallop button flaps and two large patch pockets complete the front. To each shoulder strap are two brass "pips" that denote the rank of Lieutenant, along with a "RHC" brass shoulder tile. Each sleeve bears a patch for the 2nd Canadian Division. Collar insignia for Royal Highlanders of Canada are affixed via lugs and cotter pin. All brass buttons are Black Watch Royal Highlanders buttons. A two place ribbon bar is hand sewn above the left breast pocket representing the Canadian Volunteer Service medal with maple leaf and a Territorial Decoration Medal . Two brass belt hooks are also present for the 41" long brown leather Sam Browne belt with cross strap. 
The interior is fully lined with a cotton/silk that bears a manufacture tag for “Sam’L M. Ogulnik & Co. Limited” Tailors, Montreal. A typewritten name for “J.E. Fauquier Esq. Feb. 7,1928" is visible. The chest measures approximately 39". The loop to the interior neckline is torn. (Ex Taboika Collection)
