C002895 BLACK WATCH KILT.

A pleated wool kilt in the pattern of the Black Watch with a pair of brown leather straps with the corresponding single prong buckle to one side, while a single leather strap and corresponding single prong buckle is to the other. A pair green rosette (or bow) is to the front bottom left. This rosette or bow is worn by Senior NCO’s of this regiment. The interior of waist in fully lined and trimmed. A manufactures tag of Sam’L M. Ogulnik & Co. Limited” Tailors, Montreal. A typewritten name for “2nd Ltd. W.L. Jarvis” “Nov/42" is visible. The waist measures approximately 30" and is 22" long. There is no mothing or holes present. There is some light wear along the trim to the waist. Included are a pair of khaki canvas sock garters. (Ex Taboika Collection)
