C001593 ITALIAN MILITARY COGNAC FLASK .
An aluminum flask marked R.E.I. (Regio Esercito Italiano) and "Cognac." One of only three known examples. Probably used by Alpini mountain troops at a time when it was believed alcohol warmed people up, or possibly for medicinal purposes. Complete with cap and shot cap. It is worn condition with surface irregularities but no major dents. Ultra Rare. The flask measures approximately 17cm tall.
