C000389 WWI AUSTRALIAN MARK VII .303 AMMUNITION BANDOLEER.
A five pocket, cotton constructed bandoleer to hold 10 rounds of Mark VII .303 ball ammunition. A small copper wire clip is sewn to each pocket to prevent the loss of ammo. The bandoleer is manufacture marked and dated "E.C. Belyea’ "Melbourne" and "1918" but was reissued and dated for "16-12-46." It is also war department marked. The bandoleer shows moderate usage and wear with staining and various markings, but this only makes this a very nice, used and salty example.
