L020189 FIGHTER PILOT REMEMBRANCE CARD "Fliegerleutnant Eugen Kelber".
A bi-fold, light weight remembrance card that is in memory of "Fliegerleutnant Eugen Kelber" who was "born November 1, 1896 died in air combat on the western front September 13, 1918, after having been at the front without interruption since November 6, 1914." He was also the holder of the Iron Cross (First and Second Class), as well as the Military Order of Merit. The card shows creasing, a couple of pin or tack holes to the upper corners, and a slight vertical tear along the folded seam. He was Killed on his first combat mission flying a Fokker Dxii.
