L012595 Me Bf 109 TAIL WHEEL. (Radsporn)

The black rubber and alloy construction, white walled tire is roughly 32cm in diameter and, 15cm thick. The tire is mounted on a tooled alloy hub and the inner tube is still intact. The tire is well marked on both sides with embossed script and numerical designation. The script includes the manufacturers name, "Continental", with logo, metric dimensions, "290 x 110" and "Sporn", (Tail wheel), along with other embossed markings, "8 8103 C-1", "U10", "PFL", and, "Made in Germany", in English, German, and French. Silver/aluminum paint applied to rim at some point. This type of rear wheel was used on the Messerschmitt Bf109E G 1 or Junkers Ju87A .
