Very interesting M34 converted to RLB usage. The stamped sheet steel construction, civic M34 style helmet retains a good portion of its original black paint. The helmet has the third pattern insignia, (Circa July 11TH 1934-July 28TH 1936), consisting of a large, canted, black bordered, white, swastika positioned on the right side and a diagonally angled, German national tri-color shield in black, white and red positioned on the left side. Of Note: This third pattern was only utilized for a short time, (roughly two years), until a fourth and final pattern was introduced on July 28TH 1936. To the front of the helmet has been applied an RLB decal. The helmet has two, separate, small, inset panels with groups of seven, "salt & pepper" ventilation holes to each, positioned on each side of the crown. Aluminum "comb" has been removed. The interior of the helmet has a light tan, M31 civic style, leather liner with nine fingers and ventilation perforations to the front forehead section. Original chinstrap is still present. Scarce "triple" decal RLB helmet.
