A 9.5cm x 14cm black and white portrait photograph with a crimped edge bears a "April 1941" date to the reverse. The soldier bears a pair of Obergefreiter's Collar Tabs , and a two place ribbon bar for Long Service Award and a possible Commemorative Medal of 1ST October 1938. An Iron Cross 2nd Class ribbon is attached to the button hole at the front of the tunic.
