PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: The armband was issued for male auxiliary (Marinehelfer), in this case for 'Oberhelfer " denoted from the gold rank stripes. Ribbed mid-blue rayon construction cufftitle with machine woven Gothic script, "Marinehelferin", in golden yellow threads. The top and bottom edges of the cufftitle are trimmed in gilt wire braiding. Removed from a uniform.
