K000993 PART OF U-BOAT 3.7CM FLAK SIGHT.
As per the vendor, this is from a U-236 or 263 as found by a diver of the BundesMarine. The item is Eagle "M" marked along with the three letter cod "blc" for "Carl Zeiss, Military Division, Jena". The rubber ring around the eye piece has dried and cracked causing it to be held in place by a small portion of rubber. The piece, with wood attachment measures approximately 30cm x 30cm x 42cm. Item is heavy.
