A two piece gas mask with face mask and canister that attached directly onto the face mask. The original plug is in place at the bottom of the cannister. The mask is partially dry, but remains supple. The glass to one rimmed lense is discoloured and crazed. The Type 99 pouch, is not specific to this type of gas mask. It measures approximately 8cm x 23cm x 25cm with adjustable carrying strap and ties to secure to the body. The interior is divided into two sections. There is a reinforced stitched hole to the bottom of the bag and a small printed label sewn to the bottom right corner on the front panel. The carrying pouch shows staining, as well as wear that has caused some holes to the fabric.
