A "Type 94" (Japanese calendar year 2594, western calendar year 1934) canteen, in olive-drab painted aluminum with carrying harness. Its brown, webbed canvas harness is comprised of two horizontal bands which encircle the middle and near the bottom of the canteen, and are connected front and back by a vertical band which is sewn to both their centers and runs underneath. The webbed strap is attached via an adjustable sliding buckle to one side, while the other side is sewn directly to the harness. The bottom of the canteen has a manufacture mark, as well as kanji. The canteen has various moderate/heavy denting to its’ surface, especially to the bottom. The cork is not included.
