A white porcelain construction sake cup with gilt rim. The cup depicts two hand painted cherry blossoms. The gilt kanji reads, "Ho 37" (37th Infantry), "Taiei Kinen" (Finished Duty Commemoration) and "Hito Ha Bushi Hana Sakura" (The life of the cherry blossom is fleeting but beautiful, the life of the Bushi is also fleeting and beautiful). The cup measures 7.5cm in diameter.
