The alloy badge takes the form of a convex, five-petal cherry blossom, 36mm from the end of one petal to another, with crossed rifles upon it. The rifles and the petals are in gold (tarnished/faded), while the borders of the petals, are in gold gilt. A hinge with a broad, flat pin, whose perforated end mates with an "eye," is to its reverse.
