A hinged, 9cm x 10.5cm x 24.5cm painted lacquer box with kanji houses a 72cm x 108cm silk flag with small, triangular reinforcements sewn to its hoist edge corners, from each of which extend short, woven tie-strings. The reinforcements are pulling away from the silk causing them to become fragile. An approximately 40cm diameter red "Himaru" is printed to the center of the flag’s white field. There is fraying to the silk to the finished end, as well as some staining. Included is a 23cm circumference pole topper with a 6cm long stem, a small bell and a piece of fabric with kanji. The topper has it’s own compartment built into the lid.
