J003889 (IJN) TYPE 90 "STENCILED" ANCHOR COMBAT HELMET.

The shell, constructed from chrome molybend steel, retains a good portion of its original olive drab factory paint. The yellow stenciled anchor, the second pattern IJN insignia used until the end of the war. The three pad pigskin liner and band is complete to the interior. Original straw is still inside the padded bags. Tips are torn of the liner pads. Shortened original chinstrap is complete. Well worn and used example.
