J003857 ELEVEN LITHOGRAPH ARTWORK PRINTS. A grouping of eleven color printed lithographs, all of paintings depicting martial scenes, five of which are approximately 9 7/8" x 7 3/8", two which are the same width but slightly shorter, another the same width but only 5 1/2" tall, and the remaining three of differing and smaller dimensions. Among the images are those of Japanese soldiers assaulting a tank, storming a fortified mountain position, engaged in what appears to be a night attack, advancing in a rain storm beneath the great wall of china, and much more. All are in excellent condition, with their colors still bright, no tears or obvious soiling, and only one having a vertical crease to it. Included with the illustrations are ten smaller sheets of paper, each filled with kanji characters, each no doubt being descriptions corresponding to an individual lithograph. All of these are age yellowed, and some exhibit light edge wear.
