J003483 (IJN) EM/NCO'S PUTTEES.

Two, approximately 85mm wide, full length, dark blue wool "puttees," known to their original wearers as "Makikyahan." Each have one rounded end, the other pointed, from the latter proceeding to grey colored tie tapes. The puttees would have been spirally wrapped around the wearer’s legs, with these tapes then crossed over the shin of the wearer before being tied off. Nice clean pair.
