J000889 (IJA) TANK/CAVALRY GLOVES.  

A pair of brown leather and olive green cotton gauntlet style gloves that each retain the original adjustment tapes that are held secure via the side seams. The interior of each wrist "gauntlet" have black ink stamps, while the front of the "gauntlet" has three raised and stiffened seams/pleats formed by aluminum plates. The brown leather shows wear to the fingers, as well to the seam above the wrists, but do not appear to have been issued or worn. Nice!
