Type bayonet and scabbard. The age-darkened, contoured wraparound wooden grips are fixed with two screws and has a large chip missing. The blued, hooked contoured metal crossguard has a circular muzzle guide. The 40cm fullered blued blade. Second pattern sheet metal scabbard, with-out ball tip. Strap band is missing and the scabbard has dents. The maker’s mark to the ricasso is that of the Nagoya Arsenal.
