A 15cmx 11cm photograph of German troops with camels in
Palestine. Postcard sized image of German troops with a camel transport caravan.
The man on the far left with his back to the photographer is wearing the
Bortfeldt maker pith helmet which could be folded up in the rear. Three men wear
a tropical field cap, and in the center of the image, a fifth German soldier
wears a pith helmet with a high dome of an unknown design. Fascinating image of
the war in Arabia with excellent focus and crisp details. These are the Germans
Lawrence of Arabia fought against!
