G009265 PRUSSIAN ARTILLERY OFFICER'S SWORD. (Säbel)
Artillery Officer's sword with a single fuller blade is about 87cm long. Blade is in excellent, bright and clean condition. Engraved to one side is "1. Thür. Feldart. Regt. No 19" and the other side depicts artillery in firing position. Nice patina to the brass fitting. Grip wrap is missing in a couple of spots, but the wire looks to be all present. Black painted scabbard with single hanger as used after 1905. Throat screws are missing but the fitting is still there. Scabbard retains about 85% paint. Scabbard is also nicely unit marked.
