A Maltese cross medal with the front bearing an eagle with crown and shield that has a enameled and diagonal black, white and red stripe. The left arm has 1914 to it while the right has 1918. The reverse reads "Ehren Bund Deutsch.Weltkriegs Teilnehmer E.v" or "Honour, Federation German, World War Participants". Ribbon is not included.
