G005689 PRUSSIAN M1839 SOCKET BAYONET.
A cruciform fuller blade bayonet with a notch to the entrance of the socket ring for attachment to the M1809 Prussian Potsdam rifle. The blade measures approximately 49cm long and 58cm in overall length. There are markings present. The metal shows typical wear with notches visible to the tip.
