G004295 ANTI-GERMAN PROPAGANDA CROSS.

Crudely British made propaganda piece from around 1914 during WW1 and were sold for charity fundraising. There are quite a few variations. Most contain the names of places or towns in France and Belgium where civilians perished during German actions. A propaganda item made to mock the importance and validity of an original German Imperial Iron Cross.  Iron Cross measuring approximately 42mm x 50mm. Heavy.
