G003581 IMPERIAL GERMAN RUCKSACK.

A large canvas ruck sack. All straps and buckles look complete with the exception of the roller buckle to close the main flap. Also one of the smaller auxiliary straps is missing. Measures approximately 55cm x 59cm. Dated for 1899 and with nice Strasburg (German spelling with a "U" after being captured from the French in 1870) makers stamp. Scarce.
