G002389 M1887 ENTRENCHING TOOL.
A steel shovel head roughly 20cm long and 15cm wide attached to a 35cm long wooden handle, for an overall length of 55cm. The front of the shovel head has a sleeve that holds the handle in place with a back sleeve spot welded to the shovel head, and two rivets through the handle. An enlarged ball end is to the handle for ease of use.
