Pre-WW1 German Tin Schutztruppe Toys. A set of 10 pre-WW1 children's toy soldiers and scenery pieces, including an artillery piece. The khaki uniforms are those of the Imperial Schutztruppe for Deutsche Südwest Afrika, most representing a field hospital or wounded figures. At around this time, the German Schutztruppe were fighting the rebellious Herero tribe in German Southwest Africa (today Namibia).All pieces in excellent condition with virtually all original paint remaining.
