H103285 FLASHLIGHT.
A 1930's flashlight in Original Box with Spare Parts. Very interesting German flashlight manufactured by the firm of Elektrodauerlichtfabrik Hans Falk of Berlin for military use, with Reichswehr Waffenamt acceptance stamp. Lamp is dated 1934 inside (stamped into the metal) with a maker’s logo below the date. The Waffenamt stamp is opposite the date. This is the type of flat-ish pocket flashlight which used the standard Flachbatterie. Comes in its original cardboard box with the makers label on the top of the box. A separate compartment in the box holds spare bulbs (which may be postwar-manufactured) and a number of different adapters and connectors which screw into the bulb socket in different ways for varying bulb sizes. Constructed of a black finished tin body (enameled?) with a removable heavy glass lens. The glass lens fits in place when the hinged metal body is snapped shut. The various adapters would be used for some unknown purpose without the glass lens. Unusual to find this complete in the original box. A recent old garage find in Germany.
