H079176 PROPAGANDA LEAFLET. WW2 Allied Propaganda Leaflet for Sicily dropped (or artillery-fired) on German troops on Sicily. Titled "Deutsche Soldaten in Sizilien" ("German soldiers on Sicily"), the leaflet encourages them to surrender because their situation is "hopeless" ("Euer Lage ist hoffnungslos"). Scarce campaign-specific propaganda leaflet used only on the Island of Sicily in 1943. Worn condition but complete. Found in a German army Soldbuch.. The leaflet measures approximately 14cm x 20.5cm.
