Scarce headset with for use in combination with the
steel hemet.
It
is used with portable fieldradios like feldfunk B feldfunk C
kleinfunksprechgerat D (Dorette). The
headset has two molded black bakelite earphones with metal alloy backing plates
with top and bottom openings that allows the leather headband to slip through.
Both of the swivel rocker panel arms has impressed designation , "Dfh.b",
indicating Doppelfernhörer, (Double Telephone Receiver), model "b".
The leather adjustable headband has a single prong buckle that corresponds to
one of the nine punched holes. The fabric covered wires join into a single wire
which is inserted into a black aluminum and bakelite plug housing with a dual
pronged brass plug. The sheet metal and alloy fittings all retain their original
matte black paint and all components. Scarce.
