H044494 WEHRPASS & DOCUMENT GROUPING (Father & Sons). (Wehrpaß)

A First pattern (1934 1938) Wehrpass for Kurt Göhler” along with a small black and white image of the owner. All pages with entries are photographed. Also included in the Wehrpass is a typewritten letter dated for “18. Dez. 1944" that in part reads “The Dresden 3 Military Registration Office is sending you enclosed the recently received military service record book of your son, Corporal Walter Gohler, who, in faithful fulfillment of his duty, sealed his oath to the Führer with his death for the Fatherland. The military service record book remains your property. The Military Registration Office expresses its sincere condolences on your profound loss.” A second item included pertaining to Kurt is a "Military Service Record Book Note". Also included in this grouping are a pair of “Kennkarte”, each with a black and white images and fingerprints of their owners. I believe that these belong to his sons. The last items are the Wehrpass of “Corporal Walter Gohler’, as well as his “Luftwaffen Gluggeugführerschain”. A very nice personal grouping belonging to one family. Worthy of further research.
