Roughly 13 1/4" x 6 1/4" x 4 1/2" black painted wooden slat case with dovetailed corner joints to bottom. Case has a 4" red painted band across the middle on all sides. Fold back top lid with stagger metal hinge with internal bar to reverse and inset metal locking clip to top and obverse. Top and reverse also have a screwed on white web carrying handle with woven red stripes to each outside edge. Case retains about 80% of its black and red paints. Metal fittings are also painted black and show moderate to heavy surface spotting. Natural wood interior with remnants of a contents label to lid.
